(HBO) – The Hoa Binh city Club held the Mizuno table tennis tournament or Kamito Cup Hoa Binh Open on September 15-16. This was the biggest-ever table tennis tourney organised by the club.

 The event attracted the participation of nearly 250 athletes from 19 provinces and cities across Vietnam. They competed in six events: teams – category E, teams –category C and D, singles - category E, singles – category C and D, men’s singles with age of over 45, and women’s singles. The tournament was organised under the Vietnam table tennis law.

 

The organising board presents medals and cups to winners of the team event – category C and D.

 During two days of competition, more than 600 matches took place. In the singles event – category C and D, Vu Xuan Trung (Long Son Cement Company) won the first prize, followed by Nguyen Van Hieu (Phuong Thuy Wine Company) and Luu Nam Phuong (Thai Hoa). In the singles - category E, the first prize went Phan The Tuan (Health Department). He was followed by Dang Chi Thai (Thanh Thuy) and Pham Minh Hoang (Thanh Ba). In the over-45 men’s singles, Dang Tam Son (Thai Nguyen) secured the first prize, while Nguyen Tuan Thanh (Bac Giang) and Tran Van Dung (Thai Nguyen) were the runners-up.

 Meanwhile, in the women’s singles, Nguyen Thu Thao (Nam Dinh) became the champion, followed by Vu Thi Thuy (Thai Nguyen) and Nguyen Thi Nguyet (Luong Son). 


The Thanh Thuy 1 team became the title-holder of the teams event – category E, while the fraternal coalition secured the second prize, and the jungle-fowl team and the Nhan Duc Hotel team won the third prize together. In the teams event – category C and D, the Long Son Cement team won the first prize, while the second prize went to the dove express delivery team, and the third prize to the DNT 1 team and the Phuong Thuy Wine team./.
