The Vietnamese delegation arrived in Jakarta, Indonesia on October 1 to compete in the third Asian Para Games scheduled for October 6-14.
The delegation is comprised of 75 members, including 52 athletes and 11 coaches and caretakers, led by Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Paralympic Association Vu The Phiet.

They will compete in seven out of 18 sports, namely swimming, track and field,
weightlifting, chess, badminton, table tennis, and judo.
Pham Dong Anh, deputy head of the delegation, said athletes are determined to
win the highest achievements in the tournament.
The Asian Para Games, which follows just after the Asian Games (ASIAD) every
four years, will attract athletes from 45 countries and territories.
The event aims to foster friendship, solidarity, and mutual understanding among
regional countries.
At the previous Asian Para Games in 2014, Vietnam won nine gold, seven silver,
and 13 bronze medals, finishing tenth in the overall medal tally.

During the two days, November 7 - 8, the Provincial Women's Union organized the steam volleyball tournament for the officials of the Women's Union at all levels of Hoa Binh province in 2024. In the afternoon of October 26th, at Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium, Hoa Binh Football Club (Hoa Binh FC) had a confrontation with Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club in the framework of round 1 – the First National Division Football Tournament in 2024 - 2025.
In the morning of October 22nd, at Yen Thuy District’s Stadium, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with Yen Thuy District’s People's Committee to organize the opening ceremony of the 2024 Volleyball Championship of Hoa Binh province.
