Cup of this year has more athletes and delegates than before with 150 athletes
from 21 delegates of 11 districts, cities, high schools and continuing
education centers in the province. The athletes competed for 6 sets of medals
including: male champions, female champions, young men champions, young women
champions, high school and colleges boy champions, high school and college girl
champions.
Besides the skillful athletes who have
maintained their style for many years such as Dinh Thanh Hue, Da Bac district,
in this year's Cup, there are young outstanding athletes such as: Bui Thi
Luong, Yen Thuy district, winning the first prize for female content; Bui Thi
Diem, Lac Son district, achieving the first prize in young women content, etc.
The districts of Lac Son, Yen Thuy, Luong Son contributed new promising
factors, showing that the marathon movement has been interested much.
With the substantial participation, Da Bac
district still retains the strength of teammates, individuals to deserve
consecutive six times winning the championship. The Head of the delegation of
Da Bac district Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong shared: To achieve excellent results, the
district is very interested in the marathon movement. Specifically, the
district has invested in the key direction and maintained clubs in communes and
schools and planned to invest in some primary, secondary and high schools.
In the sector of high school and college
students, Phu Cuong high school has joined for the first time with many
familiar schools such as Lung Van High School, Doan Ket High School (Tan Lac).
Teacher Nguyen Truong Nam, the head of the delegation of Doan Ket High School
(Tan Lac), said: "The school has paid attention to training and selection
of athletes participating in the Cup. During the training, coaches and athletes
have tried and won two bronze medals. The Marathon Cup was a really useful
tournament. We will try to achieve higher performance in next season.
The Hoa Binh provincial Health sector trade union organized the 1st expanded Hoa Binh provincial Health sector Pickleball tournament in 2025.
At the Hoa Binh provincial sports arena, the Organizing Committee of the 8th Hoa Binh City Sports Festival 2025 held youth and championship crossbow shooting, tug of war, and stick pushing tournaments.
