HBO – The fifth National Soft Volleyball Championship for the middle-aged and elderly took place in the northern province of Thai Nguyen from November 12-18. Players from 41 delegations and 96 teams from 16 provinces and cities competed in the categories of middle-aged men, elder men, middle-aged women and elder women.

medal and trophy of the middle-aged men’s category at fifth National Soft
Volleyball Championship for middle-aged and elder people in Thai Nguyen.
The Hoa Binh delegation
has 32 athletes, mainly from Hoa Binh city’s soft volleyball clubs, competing
for medals in all four categories.
Nguyen Xuan Thu, President
of Tan Thinh ward’s Association of the Elderly and the delegation head, said
that the organising board created a playing ground to help improve skills and
connect soft volleyball fans so that they can entertain audience with
attractive and fierce matches.
With a high determination,
the Hoa Binh delegation won a gold medal and received a trophy from the
organising board at the middle-aged men’s category. The delegation ranked fifth
out of 41 participating delegations. Expenses serving the delegation’s
participation in the tournament were mobilised from the society./.
