(HBO) – The Division of Education and Training of Cao Phong district in Hoa Binh province has recently held a football tournament for primary and secondary students in the 2018-2019 academic year.
The tournament formed part of the
district’s 5th Phu Dong Sports Festival this year, which gathered 26
football teams with more than 300 students from primary and secondary schools
across the district.
The organisers awarded gold medals
to the football team of the Primary School of Dung Phong commune.
The 26 football teams were divided
into eight groups within which play in a round-robin format. The top team from
each group advanced to the semi-finals and then the finals.
The Dung Phong Primary School
topped the primary-student category, followed by the Thung Nai Primary School.
The Nam Phong and Bac Phong Primary Schools shared the third prize.
The Tay Phong Secondary School
championed the secondary-student category. Cao Phong township’s Secondary
School came second while both Thung Nai and Binh Thanh Secondary Schools ranked
third.
The tournament was seen as a good
opportunity for local students to train their bodies and improve their health.
It was also a chance for the organisers to select talented players to compete
in the province’s Phu Dong Sports Festival in the time ahead./.

From March 21st – 23rd, the Department of Education and Training organized the Badminton - Table Tennis Tournament for students in Hoa Binh province in 2024.
The continuous sound of drums and the constant cheers of the viewers at each competition, the match have shown the appeal of the folk games. Having the opportunity to come to the festivals in Hoa Binh, visitors will be fascinated by the form of entertainment containing good traditional cultural values.
In two days, March 3rd – 4th, the Women's Union of Hoa Binh city coordinated with the Center for Culture, Sports and Information of the city to organize the 1st Women's Steam Volleyball Tournament in Hoa Binh in 2024.
Since early 2024, high-achievement sports athletes have received intensive training in preparation for provincial and national tournaments this year.
