Kim Boi district: 316 athletes join crossbow shooting - tug of war - stick pushing tournament

(HBO) - The crossbow shooting - tug of war - stick pushing tournament 2019 has taken place in the culture and sports centre of Kim Boi district.

The organizing board presents the first prizes to winners.

As many as 316 athletes from 27 communes and townships across the province participated in the tournament, including 114 competing in the crossbow shooting event, 158 in the tug of war event and 113 in the stick pushing event.

The athlete competed in the categories of tug of war and crossbow shooting for individuals; the crossbow shooting category for teams; and the male and female stick pushing category.

This is the annual tournament held in the district, aiming to create a healthy and useful playground for people of all strata, contributing to promoting the sports movement among the people.

Apart from promoting the movement the "physical exercise following the example of President Ho Chi Minh”, the tournament also helps the organizers pick the best athletes to participate in provincial-level tournaments.

The organising board awarded 17 first prizes, 17 second prizes and 17 third prizes to teams and individuals with high achievements.
