Top seed Ly Hoang Nam continued to prove his value as Vietnam’s no. 1 tennis player by making light work of Nguyen Dac Tien (Hanoi) 6-4, 6-2 in the men’s singles final of the VTF Masters 500-1-Hai Dang Cup 2020 on June 21.

With the comfortable win, Nam completed a duo of titles in this year’s tournament, thus affirming his unshakable domestic tennis reign.

Earlier on June 20, Nam paired up with Nguyen Van Phuong, his talented teammate at Hai Dang Club, to overcome Hanoi pair Nguyen Dac Tien and La Xuan Hau 6-1, 6-4 to claim the men’s doubles crown.

On the women’s side, no. 2 seed Dao Minh Trang (Hung Thinh-HCM City), who won the VTF Pro Tour 200 and VTF Masters 500-3-Lach Tray Cup last year, was crowned the women’s singles champion following her comfortable 6-4, 7-6(1) win against Nguyen Thi Mai Huong (Hai Duong), a debutant in the professional women’s singles final.
