In spite of the remote and far distance, thousands of the spectators who love sports from Cong Hoa, Quyet Thang and Dai Dong communes gathered in the district's central stadium to cheer for the teams participating in the tournament. Six excellent male and 6 female teams selected from the communes and the town competed in this useful playground.
Mr. Bui Van Kim from Lam Hoa street, Vu Binh commune excitedly said: During the two days the tournament, I watched every match. Most of the athletes in the tournament are young people, competing hard and trying their best. There were many dramatic matches, chasing for the score closely, making the audience suffocate, cheer, and cheer endlessly. For example, in the eliminated round there was the match between the male volleyball teams of Nhan Nghia commune and the district’s volleyball club, the female teams of Vu Binh and Quyet Thang communes, or the match for the first-second prize between the female teams of Vu Binh commune and the district volleyball club, the male teams between in Nhan Nghia and Vu Binh communes ...
According to Ms. Bui Thi Tham, the Director of the District’s Center for Culture, Sports and Information, after a long time affected by Covid-19 epidemic, the sport movement has been strengthened and promoted to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, encouraging many classes of people to actively participate in sports and physical training. Immediately after successfully organizing the volleyball tournament to select the strong teams to participate in the provincial volleyball championship, the district will hold the youth badminton and table tennis tournaments in April and the swimming tournament for different distance at the beginning of May.
These are also the local sports that have been considered the be the local strengths and prospects. At the same time, the communes and the town are actively preparing for the sports congresses with a scale of at least 5 sports or more at the grassroots. The sports taking place during the Sports Festival are volleyball, soccer, plaques, stick pushing, tug of war and crossbow shooting. Besides volleyball, which is considered a key sport, the locality has many other strengths such as swimming and athletics.
In recent years, the activities for sports and physical training have been paid attention to, encouraged, and facilitated by the local Party committees and the appropriate authorities. The business funding source for the culture and sports at the commune level is about 25-30 million VND every year. In 2021, the district spends nearly 1 billion VND for development of cultural and sports activities. In parallel with launching the movement of sports and physical training among the people, the facilities to serve the needs and the sports activities have been invested.
Currently, there are 9 artificial football fields in the whole district, the sports areas have been planned in 24 communes and the town, there are eleven-person football fields in many communes. The different types of sports clubs such as badminton, karatedo, soccer, volleyball, and nurturing fitness have been maintained and developed. The number of people who practice sports and physical exercises regularly compared to the population in the district is over 31%.

movement, there are many typical athletes participating in the provincial and
national tournaments with high achievements, making a significant contribution
to the district's sporting achievements. Notably, there are athletes from Huong
Nhuong and Yen Phu communes, who won the gold medals at the provincial,
