(HBO) - For the people in Cao Son commune (Da Bac), volleyball not only helps them improve the health, but it is also a spiritual "food” after stressful working hours. It has been a strong sport and a lot of high rankings in sports competitions organized by the district have been won for many years.

The villages and hamlets in Cao Son commune (Da Bac) have been organizing volleyball exchanges and competitions.

Every afternoon, at around 5 pm, people flock to the playgrounds at the cultural houses to have fun, exercise, practice together, improve their skills to participate in the competitions organized by the commune and the district. However, due to the complicated development of Covid-19 epidemics, the People in the area have strictly abided by the suspension of playing it and limit the gathering.”

Mr. Pham Tien Luc from Seo village says: "Not only young people and women like playing volleyball, I'm almost 70 years old, but I'm still very eager to practice volleyball. No one told anyone, every half past four every afternoon, the middle-aged elderly people go out to the playground to exercise, and to meet and chat for comfort at the same time.”

The movement of practicing volleyball has been established for a long time, creating the habits and the routines in the late afternoons of the day. Depending on the interest, the age and the condition of the health, each person chooses to practice hard volleyball or soft volleyball. Currently, 9 out of the 9 hamlets in the area have established their own volleyball teams for men, women, the elderly... Thereby, they opractice at the playgrounds at the office of the Communal People's Committee, the village cultural house and even they take advantage of the vacant land along the road…
