Two goals from former PSG striker, Loris Arnaud, helped reigning champions Hanoi FC leave Hoa Xuan Stadium with a precious point, following their 2-2 draw with hosts SHB Da Nang, in the 15th round of the V-League 2017 on June 28.

Loris Arnaud becomes Hanoi's hero with two equalisers.

Hanoi were forced to play with ten men as centre forward Hoang Vu Samson was given a red card after 30 minutes, as a result of his infringement on Da Nang centre back Britez.

Eydison made use of the advantage to open the scoring for the home side three minutes ahead of the hour mark, following a cross by Do Merlo.

Loris Arnaud equalised for Hanoi six minutes later, only to see his effort cancelled out as Merlo restored Da Nang’s lead with an accurate header in the 68th minute.

The score remained 2- 1 in favour of the home team with just six minutes to play.

It was looking like a bitter loss for the reigning champions, until Arnaud became Hanoi’s savior with the second equaliser, securing the guests a precious point.

Despite the draw, Hanoi maintained a two-point gap from leaders FLC Thanh Hoa, who played out a goalless draw against Ho Chi Minh City.

With the top two teams failing to bag the full three points, Saigon and Hai Phong took the opportunity to close the gap with respective 3-1 and 3-2 wins over Becamex Binh Duong and bottom-placed Long An.

Quang Ninh Coal edged out Sanna Khanh Hoa BVN with a score of 2-1, while XSKT Can Tho recorded a shocking 3-0 victory against Hoang Anh Gia Lai.

Quang Nam remain in fifth place in the V-League provisional standings following their 3-3 draw with Song Lam Nghe An.
