On April 22nd, 2021, Hoa Binh Football joint Stock Company (Hoa Binh FC) held the launching ceremony and departure of Hoa Binh Football Club. Making the speech at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The birth of Hoa Binh Football Club not only meets the expectations and satisfies the passion of the sport fans, but it is also an important milestone for the professional football development of the province. Not long after that, early in May, right on Hoa Binh Stadium, the Opening Ceremony of the National Second Division Football Tournament - Asanzo Cup 2021 took place and the first match between Binh FC and Hai Nam FC from Vinh Yen Vinh Phuc. Only after about 2 months of the establishment, Hoa Binh FC competed in an important match. Although there were no goals, the two teams drew with a score of 0 - 0, Hoa Binh FC won 1 point in the first match. The event that Hoa Binh province, for the first time, has a football team participating in the National Second Division Football tournament has attracted the attention of a large number of the people in the province. The goal of Hoa Binh FC in the near future will be to be promoted to the National First Division Football Championship in 2023.
In October 2021, Hoa Binh FC held the enrollment for the first course. More than 1,200 candidates from all districts and cities in the province participated in the recruitment. The club has selected 50 candidates who are eligible to participate in the training program at the ages of U13 and U15. For each student, the training program can last 10 years, from the time they join (13-15 years old) to the end of the young training age (21 years old). Currently, a training schedule of 4 sessions a week, each session lasts for 2 hours, and the learners are trained physically and technically from the basic to the advanced... At the same time, they are arranged the accommodation, the living place with the nutrition regime of the professional athletes, ensuring the physical development. They are facilitated to jointly study the school subjects to ensure the professional training time. In addition, the club has also recruited and screened the players at the ages of 13 and 15 from a number of clubs and sports centers throughout the country such as Viettel, PVF, Than Quang Ninh, Nam Dinh, Song Lam Nghe An...
On that basis, they have established two teams, U13 and U15, to practice according to a professional model with the goal of participating in the National U15 - U17 tournament in 2022. Mr. Nguyen Duc Manh, the Deputy Executive Director of Hoa Binh FC said: "selecting and training of young football is indispensable for any team that wants to move towards the professional and sustainable football. Hoa Binh FC is developing in the direction of building a methodical team with the identity from the club's foundations. We have embarked on the recruitment and training of the first course of the club. However, in the context of the complicated development of Covid-19 epidemics, the team's plans have been affected to some extend. However, with the love for football of the people in Hoa Binh, the attention of the leaders of the province and the approprate authorities has helped Hoa Binh FC to successfully enroll the first course. 50 excellent and promising students have been selected from 2,000 applications”. The young athletes that Hoa Binh Football Club have just selected will contribute to the development of the province's football in the future.
