(HBO) During 3 days from November 10th to November 12th, Lac Son District organized the 6th District- level Sports and Physical Training Competition.

The Competition attracted about 2,000 athletes from many communes and towns for 10 sport subjects, such as marathon, swimming, volleyball, 7-player football, traditional wrestling of Muong ethnics, athletics, crossbow shooting, javelin, stick pushing, badminton, some of which was taken place earlier.

The opening ceremony included some marching program to praise the forces of 48 delegations such as the agencies, schools, athlete teams from local communes and towns. The delegates and people enjoyed the martial arts performance carried out by 120 athletes from Lac Son Karatedo Club with the topic "Health to protect our country” and the co-starring featured by over 500 pupils and teachers of Lac Son High School with the topic "Happy homeland”.

Especially, in this competition, the traditional martial arts of Muong ethnics was recovered, which means that the traditional national sports are being preserved and promoted.

In traditional wrestling: Bui Van Bay, Ngoc Lau commune (weight level 55-57 kg); Bui Van Hoi, Lien Vu commune (weight level 63-68 kg); Bui Van Hoi, Lien Vu commune (weight level 74-79kg); Quach Van Loi, Chi Dao commune (weight level 80kg).

In short range running: Bui Tien An, Van Son commune (100m for male); Bui Thi Sinh, Xuat Hoa commune (100m for female); Bui Van Loc, Lien Vu commune (200m for male); Bui Thi Lua, Lac Son High School (200m for female); Bui Van Loc, Lien Vu commune (400m for male); Bui Thi Nhu In, Lac Son High School (400m for female).

In medium range running: Bui Van Nhat, Chi Thien commune (800m for male); Bui Thi Trang, Tan My commune (800m for female); Bui Van Hoa, Lien Vu commune (1500m for male).

In high jumping: Bui Vinh Khanh, Xuat Hoa commune (high jump for male); Bui Thi Thanh, Binh Cang commune (high jump for female); Bui Van Cuong, Huong Nhuong (long jump for male); Bui Thi Bao, My Thanh commune (long jump for female).

In throwing and lifting subjects: Bui Van Khang, Lien Vu commune (weightlifting for male); Bui Thi Chinh, Tuan Dao commune (Weightlifting for female); Bui Van Khang, Lien Vu commune (javelin for male); Bui Thi Sinh, Xuat Hoa commune (javelin for female).
