(HBO) - Since the beginning of 2023, not only Karate has achieved high achievements but the whole movement has achieved a lot of success. That result is opening a new hope for Hoa Binh Karate.


The athletes are competing at the 5th Open Youth Karate Championship of Hoa Binh Province in 2023.


At the 3rd Northern Karate Championship in 2023, Hoa Binh Karate team consisting of the athletes from the Provincial Karate Union and the Provincial Gifted School for Sports Training and Competition won 4 gold medals, 7 silver medals, 9 bronze medals. At the National Youth Karate Championship in 2023, the high-achieving athletes also won 1 gold medal and 2 bronze ones.

At the 3rd Northern Karate Championship in 2023, the Hoa Binh Karate team consisting of athletes (athletes) from the Provincial Karate Federation and the Provincial School of Gifts, Training and Sports Competition won 4 medals. gold (HCV), 7 silver medals (HCB), 9 bronze medals (bronze). Karate is one of the seven sports talent classes being trained at the Provincial Gifted School for Sports Training and Competiton. Through the process of training, many young faces have been shining, affirming their talents in a number of the national tournaments. They are Ha Thi Mai Huong, Bui Duy Thin, Bui Thi Bao Chau... The young athletes are also step by step showing the next potential, promising to make Karate martial art develop to the new height.

Along with that, the movement of Karate practice has also become popular in most of the provincial districts and in the city, the quantity and quality are constantly being improved. Many clubs at the locality have been established, maintaining the stable and effective operations, attracting a large number of students to practice regularly. Recently, the Provincial Karate Federation held the 5th Open Youth Karate Championship of Hoa Binh Province in 2023. The tournament attracted nearly 360 athletes from 22 clubs in a number of northern provinces and cities, including: Hoa Binh, Hanoi, Ha Nam, Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong, Son La, Vinh Phuc, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh, Hung Yen. The good news is that the prize for the whole team belongs to the Karate clubs of our province. Accordingly, the first prize for the whole team belonged to Luong Son club - Hoa Binh with the achievement of 22 gold medals, 11 silver medals, 22 bronze medals. With 18 gold medals, 17 silvers, 18 bronzes, the second prize for the whole team belonged to the club of Lac Son District and Quang Trung Club (Tan Lac) won the third prize for the whole team with 10 gold medals, 14 silver medals, 8 bronze medals. Looking at the medal table, it can be seen that the units that won the whole team had strong movements and performed excellently. This also reflects the actual movement of practicing Karate at the grassroots today.

Master Bui Van Lich, the Chairman of the Provincial Karate Federation says: "Over the past years, Karate martial art has always received the attention and it has been created conditions from the local Party committees and authorities. Thereby, it has been contributing to promoting the movement of practicing this martial art in our province, especially among the teenagers and children. Every year, there are many Karate tournaments organized to encourage the practice. Hoa Binh Open Youth Karate Championship this year brings together a large number of athletes and clubs from many provinces and cities. All of the participating units were well prepared with good professionsl quality, many young athletes competed impressively. The tournament was exciting and fierce, especially the matches in the confrontation content were extremely attractive and thrilling. This is an opportunity to evaluate and review the training movement of karate in the localities; strengthening solidarity, exchanging, learning and sharing experiences among the athletes. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for each martial artist to hone their expertise, perfect skills and tactics, and aim for more achievements in the future”.

With a long history at the grassroots training movement, along with the efforts of high-achieving athletes, it is hoped that Hoa Binh will become one of the localities where the Karate movement thrives in the country, contributing a lot of bright faces for the national sports, bringing glory to the homeland.
