At the end of July, the youth of Hoa Binh City were excited by the reunion of hip-hop dancers during the Peace City 3 Hiphop competition. With the vibrant music and over 100 dancers, they showed their talents, skills, and the powerful spirit of the warriors driven by a burning passion for hip-hop. Each dancer brought their unique style and personality, delivering performances full of positive energy, joy, and moments of euphoria and emotional outbursts to the audience.

The contestants competed in the Breaking Kid category.

Watching the competition live, Ms. Nguyen Thi Giang from Luong Son town said: "This is the first time I’ve watched a live hip-hop dance competition among the young people. The atmosphere is very lively, with the intense and exciting performances that were well-choreographed. The contestants demonstrated the impressive techniques with powerful, captivating moves and competed with confidence. I was quite surprised and admired the talent of the contestants, finding it hard to take my eyes off their mesmerizing performances. The audience can also feel the youthful, fresh energy and are drawn into the dance moves, fully immersed in the vibrant music.”

Following the success of the previous two seasons, Peace City 3 has become a professional hip-hop competition focusing on the street art of Breaking in Hoa Binh City. Organized by the dance group Candy Crew and sponsored by Vincom Plaza Hoa Binh along with several businesses and individuals, this is the largest hip-hop event ever held in Hoa Binh Province. The competition brought together over 100 contestants from the various provinces and cities, including Ha Noi, Đien Bien, Tuyen Quang, Thai Binh, Nam Đinh, Hoa Binh, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Nghe An, and Hai Duong.

The competition featured two main categories: Breaking Pro and Breaking Kid. To deliver the successful and explosive performances, the dancers dedicated considerable time to thorough practice and preparation before the event.

The most impressive aspect of this year's competition was the intense battle among 40 professional dancers in the Breaking Pro category. Gathering the talented and experienced individuals, the audience was fully engaged in the intense face-offs between the Breaking Pro contestants. Each move reflected modernity, youthfulness, freedom, and a passionate spirit. The high-level, evenly matched competitions, full of unique styles, ignited a love for hip-hop in every young participant.

The Breaking Kid category saw the largest number of contestants, with 70 participants aged 14 and below. Pham Nhat Nam, one of the competitors, says: "Amid the applause and cheers from the audience, I and my fellow dancers performed with more confidence and passion. This is a valuable playground where hip-hop dancers can express their passion, and aspirations, and showcase their talents after hard training”.

Peace City 3 is not just a hip-hop competition but it is also a platform for the young hip-hop enthusiasts to shine, connect, learn, and further develop street art. Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoa, the leader of Candy Crew and the head of the organizing committee, states: "Through organizing the Hiphop Peace City 3 competition, we aim to create a professional and healthy playground where young hip-hop enthusiasts can compete, interact, learn, and give their all.
