The statement said the National Assembly will vote for its
leadership on September 6 before giving a vote of confidence to a new
government on the same day.
Cambodia held its sixth general election on July 29 with 20
political parties contesting. The official results indicated that the ruling
Cambodian People's Party of Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen won all 125
seats in the National Assembly.
Through the triumph, Hun Sen will continue to lead the
government for another five years.
