(HBO) – Since the beginning of this year, Hoa Binh province’s authorities have approved 76 investment projects which register to use over 1,300 hectares of land. Those include five foreign direct investment (FDI) projects, with a combined registered capital of 34 million USD and 71 domestic projects with a total combined capital of 4,985 billion VND (219.6 million USD).


Japanese Sankoh Vietnam Company’s Branch operates effectively at an industrial park on the left bank of Da river, providing jobs for hundreds of local labourers.

The province has decided to revoke investment licenses of 23 domestic projects, allowed 41 projects to extend their schedule, and adjusted investment registration certificates of 25 others.

To date, Hoa Binh is home to 495 projects, including 35 FDI projects worth 505 million USD, covering 1,000 hectares of land and 460 domestic ones with a combined registered capital of over 65.15 trillion VND (2.87 billion USD)./.
