On the afternoon of November 22, at Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted, the Hoa Binh Provincial Youth Union held a summary and awarding ceremony for the Second Online English Singing Contest in Hoa Binh Province in 2024 and organized a training session for provincial English volunteer teachers.

The program aims to concretize Plan No. 163/KH-UBND, dated August 23, 2023, of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing "Support for improving foreign language proficiency and international integration for young people in Hoa Binh Province, period 2023 - 2030.” At the same time, it aims to raise awareness among Youth Union levels, union members, and young people in Hoa Binh about the importance of learning, improving foreign language and IT skills, and international integration. It creates a clear transformation in supporting the improvement of foreign language proficiency and international integration for young people in the province.
At the end of the contest, the organizers awarded 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 6 third prizes, 7 consolation prizes, and 1 most favorite video prize to the winners.
Through the contest and training, a learning environment is created, enhancing English practice skills for students in the province, honing skills for participating in volunteer English teaching activities, and inspiring the improvement of foreign language proficiency.

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
