(HBO) - The provincial Red Cross cooperated with the Ministry of National Defense to organize humanitary examination and treatment, free medicine delivery in Ba Khan commune, Mai Chau district.

The provincial Red Cross and the provincial
Military Command jointly provided free medicines for poor people, households of
policy beneficiaries and ethnic minorities in Ba Khan commune.
At this examination and treatment,
doctors and nurses from the Military Medical Department of the provincial Military
Command and Mai Chau General Hospital carried out free medical examination and
counseling for 300 poor people, policy families and ethnic minorities. Each
prescription is worth 100,000 VND. All medicines are funded by Vingroup.
The program of humanitary medical examination
and treatment is one of the practical activities to take care of the people's
health, contributing to implementing the social security policy of the Party
and the State. At the same time, it is also an opportunity to propagandize,
promote and mobilize the resources of all - level sectors and mass
organizations to support and participate in humanitary medical examination and
treatment.
In the upcoming time, the provincial Red
Cross Association will continue to provide medical examination and medicine
distribution to poor households, policy beneficiaries and ethnic minority
people in districts of Lac Son Yen Thuy, and Cao Phong. It is estimated that
the total number of patients examined in 4 districts will be 1,000 people.

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
