(HBO) – A considerable number of agencies, organizations and individuals in Lac Thuy district, Hoa Binh province, have raised money to buy hundreds of bicycles and presented to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, in response to the movement "accompanying children to school” launched by the district’s armed forces.

outstanding academic performance
The Military High Command of Thanh Ha town (Lac
Thuy district) presented its third bicycle to Nguyen Thi Huyen, Class 8A1,
Thanh Ha secondary school for the 2017-2018 school year. Political and social
organisations also actively get involved in the movement by encouraging members
to donate money to buy bikes for disadvantaged students.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tuan Anh, commissar of the Lac Thuy’s Military
High Command, said the programme has been implemented effectively with the
primary goal of supporting underprivileged children to achieve the best
academic results.
Over the past time, the district’s
armed forces have sponsored eight needy children and coordinated with local
military units and political and social organisations to raise money to buy 152
bicycles, 300 schoolbags and learning equipment for poor children across the
district./.
At HANOI JVC Training Center (Hanoi), the Farmers’s Support Center, the Provincial Farmers' Union and VTC1 International Development joint Stock Company recently held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement to link consulting and create the labor resources working abroad for a limited period of time.

The Board for Women's Advancement of Hoa Binh province on November 11 officially launched the Action Month for Gender Equality, focusing on preventing and addressing gender-based violence.
