(HBO) - Under the leadership of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Nam Thuong Commune (Kim Boi), over the past years, the Fatherland Front and the Task Force have coordinated well with the associations, organizations to actively reform the content, the mode of operation, improving the propaganda to the local people to implement the campaigns well, the emulation movements at the grassroots.

Nam Thuong commune has 7 hamlets, 1,226
households with 5,612 people. In the first six months of 2018, from the
campaign of "All people unite to build cultural life in the residential
area", the commune cooperating with associations, mass organizations and
local people already mobilized 2,669 working days, clearing 39 km of water
runnel, dredging 25,345 m2 of canals, upgrading many roads, the infrastructure
was being upgraded and repaired. Through the implementation of those campaigns,
the local people in the villages, hamlets have increased their productions,
stepping up the restructuring of plants and animals, raising the yields per unit
of cultivation. The main agricultural products of the local such as green
pumpkin, red pumpkin, melon, organic vegetables, etc. have brought the average
income of the commune to 23 million VND per person per year. From the
campaigns, there have appeared many outstanding individuals, typically in
economic development such as: Mr. Bui Duc Hung (Bai Xe village), Mr. Bui Van
Quyet (Nuoc Ruong village), Ms. Bui Thi Van (Bai Xe village), etc.
Besides propagating and encouraging the
people's power in economic development, the Fatherland Front and the Task Force
committees regularly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people through
village and hamlet meetings, raising social criticism. Conciliation activities
are always maintained with 8 teams, including 39 members to promptly resolve
complaints, claims, denunciations, conflicts at the grassroots; building and
expanding the self-managed inter-family groups in the residential area to
ensure order security, in which the hamlets and villages have implemented
effectively, such as Binh Tan village, Nuoc Ruong village, etc. In order to
implement the undertakings of the Party, the policies and laws of the State on
religious affairs, the commune has many activities to visit, give gifts of
parishioners on special occasions, clearly promoting their roles in following
the law, ensuring order security, and eliminating society's evils.

Da Bac is the most disadvantaged mountainous district in Hoa Binh province, with ethnic minorities accounting for about 90% of its population. Over the past years, the district has mobilised resources to implement ethnic policies to improve the quality of life of local people.

The Steering Committee for Tobacco Harm Prevention and Control of Hoa Binh province, in coordination with the Tobacco Harm Prevention and Control Fund, held a ceremony on May 28 in response to the World No Tobacco Day (May 31) and the National No Tobacco Week (from May 25 to 31). Since 2021, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting (CIIDC) under the Department of Industry and Trade has been implementing a school lighting model as part of the plan for using energy efficiently and economically in Hoa Binh Province in the pẻiod of 2021 - 2025. This model not only aims to improve the learning conditions and enhance the education quality, but it also promotes the message of energy saving, energy security, environmental protection and contributes to the goals of socio-economic development.
In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
