(HBO) - In these days in August, the teachers and pupils of Hoa Binh Boarding Ethnic High School are actively preparing in all aspects to be ready for the new school year of 2018-2019.

 The Rector of Hoa Binh Boarding Ethnic High School, MA., the Excellent Teacher, Mr. Quach Thang Canh, said: "In recent years, Hoa Binh Boarding Ethnic High School has become a bright spot for education and training in the province and in the national educational system of Boarding Ethnic High Schools. The quality and effectiveness of the school education are always maintained at the top in the province and nationwide.”

With the total of 85 staff and teachers employed, there were 84 being awarded the title of Very Good Laborers, 13 of whom were the grassroots excellent laborers and 2 individuals were awarded Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Education and Training and the provincial People's Committee. Participating in the Contest of Excellent Teachers, Good Former Teachers, Provincial Good Secretaries of Youth Union, there was 1 staff achieving the first prize, 1 participant achieving 1 second prize and 1 consolation winner. 100% of the teachers participating in regular training test meet the requirements upward.

In the school year of 2017-2018, the quality of learning and training of school pupils is constantly improving, for example, 656/677 pupils have good behavior, accounting for 96.90%; 20 pupils achieved quite good behavior, accounting for 2.95%, etc. About academic capacity, 238 pupils achieved good grades, accounting for 35.16%; 421 pupils attained quite good grades, accounting for 62.19%; 18 pupils in average grades, accounting for 2.16%. There were 12 first prize winners, 30 second prizes, 27 third prizes, 25 consolation prizes and the first delegation prize at the provincial Excellent Pupil Contest. In particular, 100% of the pupils graduated from the National High School Tests. Of these, 220/229 were admitted to study at universities and colleges; 2 had enough marks for college preparatory, etc. The education, pupil management, food safety and hygiene, environmental protection, school health and the eradication of social evils are being strictly implemented with high results, which create confidence for parents with children to let their children study at this school. As a result, Hoa Binh Boarding Ethnic High School is recognized as an outstanding unit in the province's high schools and Boarding Ethnic High Schools, and being awarded the flag by the provincial People's Committee in leading the movement in the school year of 2017-2018.

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
