(HBO) - In 2017, the provincial Study Encouragement Association launched the fundraising movement to build the provincial study encouragement fund of 2017 and Lac Son district reached nearly 97% of the plan. Some communes completed 100% of the plan, of which, the most prominent one is Tan My commune.


Propagating for the members to understand the contents and significance of the study encouragement fund.

 

The Study Encouragement Association of Tan My Commune currently has 2 Study Encouragement Boards and 21 Study Encouragement Branches with nearly 1,700 members. Through meetings of the Party Committee and Commune People's Committee, many problems arisen have been resolved. On these meetings, we advised the commune to implement the annual fund raising campaign for study encouragement fund every year. Later then, the Branch Party Secretariat, the Heads of villages cum. the Heads of the Study Encouragement Associations participating the meeting have been deployed all the information to the local people. Thanks to the unity and high consensus from the commune to the village as well as the tradition love of local learning, the mobilization of fund building has taken place smoothly. Responding to the call letter of the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, 100% of the study encouragement members of the commune have contributed and supported for the provincial study encouragement fund with the total amount of donation about nearly 17 million VND, completing 100% of the assigned plan.

In order to receive a high level of consensus among members in setting up the fund, the Study Encouragement Association of Tan My Commune especially focuses on publicity, clearness and effectiveness of using study encouragement funds. The Fund is used for rewarding and supporting pupils, students, and teachers, who achieve high academic results. In particular, in the school year of 2017 - 2018, the Study Encouragement Association of Tan My Commune has awarded 141 gifts for teachers, pupils in the commune with a total value of more than 9 million VND. On the occasion of the new school year, the Commune Study Encouragement Association supports books, school supplies and meals for pupils worth over 6 million VND.

Apart from the study encouragement fund of the commune, some villages have also built and used effectively the village study encouragement fund, such as Da, Khanh, Khao, Kho villages, etc. Especially, in recent years, the movement of setting up Study Encouragement Clans has been developed quite strongly, there are at present 12 clans of study encouragement clans in the whole commune. The clans have created a study encouragement fund to promptly motivate their offspring. Some typical clans are Bui Van clan (Khanh village), Vu Dinh clan (Bo Tuc village), etc.

Progress in ethnic minority education

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
