(HBO) -. The commune has implemented many specific solutions to propagandize and mobilize the residents to take advantage and develop the diversity of the industries; actively changing the structure of plants and livestock, applying scientific and technological advances to production.
Up to now, the commune has planned the areas
of cultivation, husbandry and multiplied high-efficiency models, set up groups
and teams to help each other develop the economy, created conditions for people
to access capital loans for economic development, sustainable poverty
reduction.

improves people's living conditions.
Over the last 3 years, the commune has
mobilized local people to convert less effective land, forming 85 hectares of
planting bananas, 177 hectares of planting lemongrass and 58 hectares of
planting grapefruit. At the same time, the commune expanded the livestock
types, which has brought about remarkable economic efficiency. The commune has
set up 2 effective-operating husbandry co-operatives: a Cooperative of raising
breeding cows and a Cooperative of honey bee keeping. The number of bee herds
has increased from 1,053 herds (in 2014) to nearly 2,700 herds now; the number
of buffalos and cows has gone up from 57 to 426. Of which, the honey bee
keeping Cooperative gets the revenue of 1, 1 billion VND per year. The
cooperative of raising breeding cows has a turnover of 2, 1 billion VND per
year. The citrus planting cooperative of Rong Vong village has converted 35 hectares
of inefficient land into citrus plantation, creating jobs for 15 laborers with
the income of 5 million VND / person / month. The commune has developed
driftwood and scenery stone sculpture with 53 households participating in
handicraft making, creating jobs for hundreds of local laborers with the income
of 6-7 million VND / person / month. Taking advantage of this, the commune
supports enterprises to implement investment projects, including some effective
projects. Particularly, the project of Phuong Hoang golf course creates jobs
for about 200 laborers.
In addition, Lam Son commune has maintained a
good movement to remove temporary houses, dilapidated houses, building solid
houses for the poor people or policy families. This movement was supported by the
State government from 2009 to 2014 and it was completed. At present, the
commune no longer has any temporary houses, dilapidated houses, etc.
In 2016, the commune was recognized to meet
the standards of a new rural area. The commune is currently maintaining and
improving the quality of the standards.
Up to now, the per capita income of the
commune has reached 29 million VND per year. The rate of poor households
reduces to 0.38%.
