HBO - Implementing the movement of patriotic emulation, Hoa Binh women always try their best to rise up and appear many typical examples in different fields. The women have inspired, spread and motivated the younger generation and they have become the core force of the local women's movement.



Ms. Bui Thi Thanh, a member of the Women's Union in Bai Da, Bao Hieu commune (Yen Thuy), is a typical woman of studying and following Uncle Ho's example. Ms. Thanh has enthusiastically helped other women who are in difficult economic situations to escape poverty and how to get rich. She has supported loans without interest and has lendt the area to do business. Thanks to her capital support and positive encouragement, many women have been able to make food and develop their own breeding farms.  

 

Being passionate, enthusiastic, eager to learn, bold and creative in changing the economic models, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu, a member of the Women's Union of An Ninh village, Phu Lao commune (Lac Thuy) has invested in planting seven hundred Sapa and Van Khoi ancient roses. When the roses have grown and developed well, Ms. Thu has extracted and transplanted to multiply the flower bases. When the roses are in full bloom, Ms. Thu takes advantage of petals to make the rose oil to serve her family's needs and make gifts. From the model of growing flowers, her family earns more than 300 million dongs every year, creating jobs for three laborers with a stable income of 3 million VND per person a month. In addition to the area of the rose cultivation, her family has a large garden with a nethouse growing orchids. This is also a type of flower with a high economic value. Her family has the intention to open the garden for weekend visit and picnic in the coming time.

In residential group 20, Dong Tien Ward (Hoa Binh City), Ms. Dao Thi Huong is well-known for a compassionate woman who actively participates in volunteering activities and helps those in needs. Not only being active and enthusiastic in all movements of the Women's Union, she always pays special attention to humanitarian and charitable activities such as visiting the members and women who are sick and suffer from serious diseases.

Ms. Bui Thi Mien, the member of the Women's Union in Chanh village, Vinh Dong commune (Kim Boi) is an example of women with disabilities surpassing their destiny to form a group of "The Lunar Circles of Disabled People" and they have made a special impression because of the energy.

The model of efficient energy lighting - Spreading the light of education

Since 2021, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting (CIIDC) under the Department of Industry and Trade has been implementing a school lighting model as part of the plan for using energy efficiently and economically in Hoa Binh Province in the pẻiod of 2021 - 2025. This model not only aims to improve the learning conditions and enhance the education quality, but it also promotes the message of energy saving, energy security, environmental protection and contributes to the goals of socio-economic development.

Progress in ethnic minority education

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
