(HBO) - This year, on the vocation of April 30 and May 1 the officials, the civil servants and the employees were entitled to 5 consecutive days off. It was forecasted that the density of people and vehicles participating in traffic would suddenly increase, potentially threatening the traffic congestion and the loss of traffic safety. Therefore, the provincial appropriate authorities have paid particular attention to ensuring the traffic order and safety. 

The officers and the soldiers of the Traffic Police Team – Hoa Binh Department of Public Security have strengthened the patrol and the control, reminding the traffic participants to raise the awareness of law observance.

Together with implementing Official Letter No. 402, April 10, 2019 of the Prime Minister on serving the travel needs of the people and ensuring traffic safety during the holidays of April 30 and May 1, 2019, on the same day the Chairman of the People's Committee of the province also issued Document No. 2086 to assign the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee and other departments and the appropriate authorities to implement the contents of the Official Letter No. 402 of the Prime Minister and to report the results of the submission to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. 

Implementing the official document, many synchronous and drastic solutions have been actively implemented by the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee and the Traffic Police team (the Provincial Department of Public Security), bringing safe holidays to people. Accordingly, the Traffic Safety Committee of the province has issued a directive to the local Traffic Safety Committees to implement many specific measures. In particular, it is not allowed to drive beyond speed, after using alcohol, beer, narcotics. Do not use mobile phones while driving, wear safety helmet when riding motorcycles, motorcycles, electric bicycles; wear life jackets in accordance with the regulations when traveling on water transport and so on.

Implementing the plan of the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee and the Provincial Department of Public Security, the Traffic Police Department have actively developed a plan to ensure traffic safety during the vocation. Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Thi Thu Hang, the Deputy Head of Traffic Police Department says "Because of the high travel demand of people during the vocation of April 30, May 1, as well as a large number of tourists may rush to the tourist spots such as Mai Chau, Kim Boi, Lac Thuy, Cao Phong, we will arrange the traffic directional distribution and strengthen traffic patrol and control, focusing on the errors and the behaviors that are the main reasons leading to the loss of traffic safety. In particular, we will strengthen the coordination with traffic inspection forces to prevent and strictly handle with the act of suppressing the passengers, carrying more than the prescribed number of passengers of the transport means”.

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
