(HBO) - Da Phuc commune, Yen Thuy district currently has more than 1,200 hectares of forest, mainly protection forests and was assigned to 15/15 hamlets. With a large area of protection forest, there are 13 trees which are over 600 years old in the area of the original forest of Nhuoi hamlet. These trees are strict ly put into protection by the district.

Hundreds of years old trees are strictly protected by neighbors of  Nhuoi hamlet, Da Phuc commune, Yen Thuy district.

Mr. Bui Van Hoan, Chairman of  People's Committee of Da Phuc commune said: In the past years, the commune and its branches, unions and forest rangers have been promoting propaganda and mobilizing people to raise their awareness and responsibility in forest protection.

In addition, the commune established forest protection groups, regularly organized patrols, firmly grasped the area, promptly discovered acts of illegal encroachment of forest resources. Thus, over the years, the forest area in general and precious forest products and perennial old trees in Nhuoi hamlet are always preserved.

From Nhuoi hamlet, we exceeded over 1 km of forest roads to reach the area of 13 trees that estimated over 600 years old.  Within a radius of  50m from the stand, the ancient trees made us overwhelmed with a diameter of nearly 2m trunk, the height was approximately 50m.

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
