(HBO) - In order to promote the movement of workers, employees and laborers, in the past time, Lac Thuy Confederation of Labor has organized many practical activities, attracting a large number of members to join.

The athletes are participating in the Volleyball Tournament for the workers, employees and laborers in Lac Thuy district in 2019.

The district’s Confederation of Labor has developed plans and operational programs in 2019, guiding local trade unions to fully and timely propagate the lines of the Party, the policies and laws of the State to 100 % the trade members and employees. The festival of the Month for workers was held, attracting 400 trade members and employees in many meaningful activities.

The activities to improve living standards for workers and employees in enterprises are cared and promoted by the district’s Confederation of Labor. Since the beginning of the year, they have visited and donated gifts to the employees working for enterprises on the occasion of the Lunar New Year and the Month for Workers worth 145 million VND. The district’s Confederation of Labor has represented the employees to sign a collective agreement with a business owner who has many favorable terms for the employees (signed the agreement with Hoa Binh High Technology joint Stock Company in March). They have continued to negotiate and sign the cooperation agreements with 2 partners (Lac Thuy Post Office and Quyet Nam Enterprise). The partners discount 15-20% of the list price for trade members to buy goods and use the services of the business. As a result, in the first 6 months of the year, the number of the trade members enjoyed preferential treatment from partners is more than 200 turns with a total amount of over 35 million VND.

Lac Thuy Confederation of Labor has also been actively developing local trade unions and the members. From the beginning of the year, the district’s Confederation of Labor has developed its members and established one local union of non-state business with 114 members.

The model of efficient energy lighting - Spreading the light of education

Progress in ethnic minority education

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
