(HBO) - Over the past years, the Red Cross at all levels in the province has always focused on improving the quality and the effectiveness of the humanitarian and charitable activities, paying attention to the health care and promoting the movement of voluntary blood donation.

Thereby, they have timely encouraged supported the poor households and the victims of Agent Orange, the beneficiaries under preferential policy, the households affected by the natural disasters, especially the vulnerable objects in society to rise up in life, contributing practically to solving the policies of social security in the province.

Dinh Nhuan joint Stock Company is offering gifts to the families under preferential policy, the disadvantaged households in Hoa Binh City. 

In the first 6 months of this year, from the movement of "Lunar New Year for the poor and the victims of Agent Orange" in the spring of the Pig, all the levels of the Red Cross has mobilized to donate 26,918 gifts worth 12.21 billion VND to the poor households, the victims of Agent Orange, the beneficiaries under preferential policy and households affected by the natural disasters.

All the levels of the Red Cross has actively responded to the campaign "Every organization and individual attaches to a humanitarian address" with many diverse and practical activities. Typically: The Red Cross off Hoa Binh City has awarded 825 million VND to 55 the poor households, relocating to build the House off the Red Cross. The Red Cross of Lac Thuy district in collaboration with Tay Bac Vocational Electromechanical College and the team "For the community" off the district packed 1,250 Chung cakes worth 25 million dongs to give the poor students so that they celebrated the New Year and welcomed the spring ...

In addition, the Red Cross at all levels have collaborated with other organizations and individuals to support the construction of 8 new houses of the Red Cross worth 323 million VND. They have visited and given gifts, free medical examination, counseling and free medicine distribution to 442 people and the elderly in difficult circumstances in Hang Kia commune (Mai Chau), Binh Hem commune (Lac Son) and Hoa Binh commune (Hoa Binh City), worth over 111.2 million VND.

In addition, the Program of "The Cow Bank" in Lac Son, Lac Thuy, Luong Son, Kim Boi districts and Hoa Binh City continues to be implemented with 8 breeding cows worth nearly 104 million VND, which has been transferred to the disadvantaged households. Especially, the voluntary blood donation activities continue to have received great response from the Red Cross, the organizations and the individuals. In the first 6 months of the year, the Steering Committee of the voluntary blood donation has coordinated with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to organize 3 humanitarian blood donations in districts and the city with 1,317 participants, receiving 1,328 units of blood worth over 188 million VND.

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
