(HBO) - After more than 2 months of summer vacation, all students in Hoa Binh province have returned to school, ending the rest and relaxation time.

With the attention of all levels and sectors, most communes and wards in Hoa Binh province have children's play places. All schools hand over pupils to local areas for summer activities.

Many meaningful activities for children in the summer such as: camps, arts shows, sports activities, reading books, newspapers... The propaganda for parents of pupils about drowning prevention and prevention child abuse is promoted.

In Hoa Binh city, there are more activities for children than in rural areas. Hoa Binh City Youth Union received 12,000 students on summer activities. Hoa Binh City Youth Union organized camps, fairs, visiting historical sites. Organizing 3 free English communication classes for pupils and 1 free swimming class for more than 40 pupils in Thong Nhat commune. Besides, Hoa Binh city has many places for children to play such as: AP Plaza, Vincom, Tue Minh... Many teaching skill classes for children are opened at Youth center.

In rural areas, although some communes still have difficulties in facilities (no cultural houses or degraded cultural houses), localities have overcome in many ways, such as: borrowing places of householes to organize summer activities for children.

Progress in ethnic minority education

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
