(HBO) - With the officials of the Fatherland Front Committee of Tuan Lo Commune (Tan Lac), we visited Mr. Bach Cong Hai's family in Ban Doi hamlet, the poor household was supported to build and hand over the "Great Solidarity" house in October 2018. The happiness is present on his face. Having a new home, his family can ease the difficulties and hardship to have the peace of mind to live and develop economy, improving the quality of life.

From the support of the Fatherland Front supported by different levels, Mr. Bach Cong Hai, Bac Doi hamlet, Tuan Lo commune (Tan Lac) built "Great Solidarity" house, contributing to stabilizing life.

During the 2013-2018 term, the Fatherland Front has promoted propaganda and mobilized the officials, the party members and the people of all classes to build "The Fund for the Poor” in various and diversified forms to carry out charitable activities and the social security. Based on the plan of the district’s Committee of Fatherland Front, the mobilization level for the officials and the employees is one day's salary and 20,000 VND a year for each household. Accordingly, "The Fund for the Poor” in 2018 reached 11 million VND, increasing 3 million VND compared to 2013. The annual goal is to support at least one poor household to build” The Great Solidarity” house with a minimum amount of 10 million VND.

As a result, during the period of 2013 - 2018, the total mobilized fund reached 70 million VND. Thereby, six houses of "The Great Solidarity” have been built and one damaged house has been repaired. In 2018 alone, from the funds of the Fatherland Front of the province and district, 55 million VND has been supported to build 2 houses for the poor households. In the 9 months of this year, the Fatherland Front has mobilized the officials and the people to contribute about 13 million VND to build the "The Fund for the Poor”. It is estimated that by the end of November, the Fund Management Board will synthesize, review and support the construction of "The Great Solidarity” houses, repairing and upgrading a number of deteriorated and severely damaged houses of poor households and the households under the preferential policies.

Mr. Bui Van Hue, the Chairman of the Committee Fatherland Front in Tuan Lu commune says: "In the coming time, the Fatherland Front will continue propagandizing and mobilizing departments, the appropriate authorities and the people to build "The Fund for the Poor” so that it can reach from 14-17 million VND every year. They will strengthen the coordination and mobilization of funding from organizations, individuals and benefactors to visit and support at least 30 poor and poverty threshold people each year. They have plan to reduce the rate of the poor households in the whole commune to below 8%. Thereby, the quality of life of the people will be improved, contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development”.
