(HBO) – The Hoa Binh Organisation For Education Promotion has hosted a ceremony to honour workers active in innovation activities and students with outstanding achievements in the 2017 national entrance exam. Attending the event were vice chairmen of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Cuu and Bui Van Khanh, and other local officials.

 

As many as 159 individuals and groups were honoured at the event, including a student delegation that won a prize at the 7th e-ICON World Contest in the Republic of Korea.


 Bui Van Cuu, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and leaders of the Hoa Binh Organisation for Education Promotion present certificates of merit to the student group.


 Bui Van Khanh, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and leaders of the Hoa Binh Organisation for Education Promotion present certificates of merit to students passing the 2017 entrance exam with total scores of at least 27.

 Speaking at the event, Bui Van Cuu congratulated the awardees for their achievements and expressed his hope that they will continue their good work and contributions.

 In the 2011 – 2016 period, the organisation mobilised 35.6 billion VND to finance scholarships and gifts for outstanding students and teachers.

The model of efficient energy lighting - Spreading the light of education

Since 2021, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting (CIIDC) under the Department of Industry and Trade has been implementing a school lighting model as part of the plan for using energy efficiently and economically in Hoa Binh Province in the pẻiod of 2021 - 2025. This model not only aims to improve the learning conditions and enhance the education quality, but it also promotes the message of energy saving, energy security, environmental protection and contributes to the goals of socio-economic development.

Progress in ethnic minority education

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
