(HBO) - As of 3pm on April 22, Hoa Binh province had not yet reported any COVID-19 infections, said the provincial steering committee on COVID-19 prevention and control. However, there were 126 suspected cases.
On April 22, one more person residing in Hoa Binh city was
suspected to be infected with SARS-CoV-2 that causes COVID-19. This person is
now quarantined and monitored at the province’s general hospital.

The province’s health sector had taken samples of 118 out of total 126 people.
Of which, four had their samples taken twice, and eight did not have enough
conditions for sample taking.
After testing, 119 out of 122 samples tested negative, one was waiting for
results while two failed to meet testing requirements. All of them were
quarantined in line with guidelines of the Ministry of Health. Those 119 cases
were allowed to go home, while seven still stay in health facilities.
Relevant agencies have been taking and verifying health
declarations on NCOVI app. As many as 19,956 people made their voluntary health
declarations in the reviewed period. Among 1,143 cases which required verification,
now there are only three cases left./.

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
