(HBO) - By the end of May 2020, the number of people participating in compulsory social insurance in the whole province was 73,796 people, reducing by 409 people (0.5%) compared to that of April 2020, increasing by 207 people (0.3%) compared to that of the same period in 2019.

The social insurance of Lac Son district has reformed the administrative procedures to best serve the benefits of the participants of the social insurance.

The number of people participating in voluntary social insurance was 5,681 people, increasing by 235 people (4.3%) compared to that of April 2020 and 2,718 people (91.7%) compared to that of the same period in 2019. The number of people buying the unemployment insurance were 63,713 people, reducing by 280 people (0.4%) compared to that of April 2020, increasing by 3,011 people (4.9%) compared to that of the same period in 2019.

The number of people participating in the health insurance was 810,658, reaching the coverage rate of health insurance of 94.2% of the population, increasing by 1,681 people (0.2%) compared to that of April 2020, reducing by 3,765 people (0.5%) compared to that of the same period of 2019. The debt of social insurance and health insurance was more than 154 billion VND, accounting for over 4% of the revenue plan.

With such difficulties, the provincial social insurance has directed the professional departments and the social insurance agencies of the districts to focus on a number of specific tasks such as implementing the debt collecting measures and collecting debts by suitable forms for each unit and enterprise, reviewing and making statistics of those who have not participated in social insurance and health insurance for propaganda and advocacy ...

They have also implemented many solutions to support businesses and participants of the social insurance and health insurance such as paying pensions and social insurance benefits in April and May in the same payment period for beneficiaries via ATM cards or directly at home. The unemployment benefits have promptly paid to the workers who are unemployed due to the epidemics. They have created the most favorable conditions for the patients having the health insurance cards to timely medical examination and treatment, or referring medical services when they are suspected of being infected with Covid-19. The advance funds have immediately made to the medical facilities to ensure the medical operation, especially those facilities with infected or suspected Covid-19 patients. The initial health care funds have been used to buy antiseptics and soaps for controlling and preventing Covid-19 epidemics. They have also provided the outpatient medicine for chronic cases and long-term treatment during the time of Covid-19 anti-epidemic. The local people have been guided and supported how to provide the social insurance codes to make electronic medical declarations ...

The receipt and return of the results of the administrative procedure settlement through electronic transactions have been promoted. The reception and return of administrative procedures directly at the one-stop shop at the different levels of the province and district have been maintained through the public postal service with the spirit of best serving the interests of the participants, ensuring the strict implementation of preventing and controlling measures of Covid-19 epidemics.
