(HBO) – In response to the provincial Fatherland Front Committee’s call, a group of local businesses raised some 370 million VND (15,900 USD) to support flood-affected people in the central localities.

Of the total amount, Dinh Nhuan Trading joint Stock Company contributed 50 million VND, Da Hop Trading joint Stock Company 60 million, Anh Ky Investment Development joint Stock Company 50 million, and Tam Oanh Electronics Mart 10 million VND. Several businesswomen also contributed money in response to the fatherland front’s call.

With the money, the group prepared 600 gifts, each worth 600,000 VND, with ten essential items of rice, noodle, fish sauce, cooking oil, seasoning salt, dry provisions, washing powder, blanket, toothpaste and toothbrush.

In addition, staff of Da Hop Trading joint Stock Company supported the flood victims with 200 gifts, containing clothes, noodles, and canned porridge. 

On October 24, Dinh Thi Hao, member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee, Chairwoman of the province’s businesswomen association and vice president of the province’s business association and the convoy transporting relief goods set off for Quang Binh to present relief items.

The model of efficient energy lighting - Spreading the light of education

Progress in ethnic minority education

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
