(HBO) – In 2020, under the comprehensive leadership of the steering committee for the movement "All people safeguard national security, preventing criminals and social evils” (Steering Committee 09) of Yen Thuy district has directed, the district has achieved fruitful results, according to Chairman of the district People’s Committee Bui Van Hai, who is also head of the committee.
He said that the district police, which is
the standing agency of the steering committee, has proactively implemented policies,
resolutions and directives of the Party and higher-level authorities on
ensuring security and order. The police also closely followed the situation and
promptly handled arising issues related to security and social order.
Crimes and social evils have been
controlled, while a number of crime types have been reduced, he said.
State management in the field of security
and social order has been strengthened, while the movement "All people
safeguard national security, preventing criminals and social evils” has been popularized
and grown more effective, thus contributing to ensuring security and social order,
serving the implementation of socio-economic development tasks of the locality.
Responding
to the movement of "strong mass mobilization” in the police force, police
officers of Yen Thuy have actively participated in building rural roads in the
locality.
In order to maintain and promote the
movement in an efficient manner, the district’s police has coordinated with
other sectors, agencies and organisations as well as communes and townships to
launch a patriotic emulation campaign in protecting national security. The
force has guided and coordinated with localities and agencies to build and
maintain the operation of various models, including the "self-managed
residential groups” in Bai Da village in Bao Hieu commune; the "safe school” in
Lac Thinh commune’s junior high school; "camera supervising security and order
and traffic operations” in Bao Hieu and Yen Tri communes; and "security bell”
in Lac Luong commune.
Thanks to the movement "All people
safeguard national security, preventing criminals and social evils” and the
effective application of professional measures, crimes and traffic accidents in
Yen Thuy have reduced sharply. So far, all 10 communes in the district have
completed the criteria on security and social order under the new-style rural
area building programme./.

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
