(HBO) - On December 20th, at the People's Committee of Tay Phong commune, the Youth Communist Union coordinated with the Youth Communist Union of Cao Phong District and Nestle Vietnam Company Limited (the sponsor) to hold the inauguration of the project of "Dynamic Vietnam” playground.

The delegation of the Central Youth Communist Union and the leaders of the Youth Communist Union of Hoa Binh province are presenting the sports clothes and balls to the children of Tay Phong commune (Cao Phong).

Continuing to deploy and add the value to "The second journey of tires”, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has cooperated with Nestle Milo brand to deploy 30 dynamic playgrounds in Vietnam nationwide in 2 years of 2020 – 2021 with the view to enhancing sports training for children in rural areas. Within the the province, the Provincial Youth Communist Union has surveyed and selected to build the "Dynamic Vietnam” playground in Tay Phong commune (Cao Phong).

The project has a total area of 540 square meters, including a basketball court, a standard football field and the entertainment equipment. The project started from October 4th to November 17th. In particular, the installation items are made from recycled materials (Milo milk cartons), which are waterproof, carrying a propaganda message about minimizing plastic waste, using recycled materials, which are environmentally friendly. The project has a total construction cost of over 100 million VND from the fund of the Central Youth Communist Union and Nestle Vietnam Co., Ltd. It has becoming a useful and healthy playground, helping the local children develop comprehensively in term of physical activities and spirit.

On this occasion, the delegation of the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Youth Communist Union presented 40 sets of basketball and football clothes, 4 basketball and soccer balls; Nestle Vietnam Co., Ltd presented over 140 glasses of Milo to the children in Tay Phong commune. At the same time, other activities also took place. They included nutritional counseling, milk-can exchanging for green trees, tree planting, transmitting about the harmful effects of plastic waste to the children.

The representative of the Central Youth Communist Union hopes that this playground for the young people will be really dynamic, attractive and useful.

Progress in ethnic minority education

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
