(HBO - Over the past time, the provincial Women's Union has implemented many practical activities to support women to build a prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized family.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, a member the Women’s Union of Minh Thanh hamlet, Yen Tri commune (Yen Thuy) is taking care of the family's herd of cows.

The president of the provincial Women's Union, Ms. Hoang Thi Duyen said: Right from the beginning of the year, the Women's Union at all levels has actively developed plans to launch the emulation movement, directing closely to the political tasks of the locality and those of the Union; integrating the implementation of emulation movements and 2 campaigns of the Union and the Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo, encouraging the participation of many members and women. The different levels of the Union organized many seminars to help women gain more knowledge, raise awareness about the role and position of women, and build harmonious and happy family relationships. Every year, the number of families registering to implement "A civilized and happy family” reaches over 99%.

Returning to Yen Tri commune (Yen Thuy), when seeing the spacious house of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh’s family, a member of the Women’s Union in Minh Thanh hamlet, we could not help but admire her will to get rich and build a prosperous life. Stemming from difficulties, but with determination, her family boldly borrowed the capital to invest in economic development from raising cows. Ms. Thanh said: "With the regular help from the Women's Union, with the allowance to participate in the training programs, the vocational training, the visits to the models of effective economic development, my family has gradually been overcoming difficulties, and we have taken comfort in business. Since the family’s economy has improved, I have the conditions to raise my children obediently, the family is harmonious, and take care of my home. Currently, we are raising 7 breeding cows, 45 cows for beef. Subtracting the cost, each year we can have over 500 million VND”.

To help women promote their role as "the home builders”, the Union organizes many diverse activities, including propaganda festival "Building a civilized and happy family, preventing the social evils”, the contests, the exchanges, the seminars ... The Women's Unions at the grassroots levels continues to launch, consolidate and strengthen the club model. Currently, 100% of the communes, the wards and the towns maintain clubs: "Building a happy family”, "Gender and family”, "Raising children well” ... In which there are 35 models of "The Safe Village for women and children”, promoting its positive effects.

Along with raising awareness in all aspects for women, the Women's Union at all levels has actively coordinated with the appropriate sectors and units to exploit the credit capital to support women to borrow capital for the production investment. In 2020, the Union will support 140 women to start a business in many forms, including supporting seeds, capital, cash, and the access to capital. In which, they supported 20 women to develop plans and ideas to participate in the contest "Women starting a career at Central level in 2020”, and there of whom won prizes. The Unions at all levels have actively been propagating and mobilizing the capital sources for businesswomen, the cooperatives, the cooperative groups ... to borrow for production and business development. They have been coordinating with the Bank of Social Policy to help members access the low-interest loans. Up to now, 2,621 groups with 817,235 members have been operating, saving over 32 billion VND to help the members and the women borrow for family economic development.

The Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union added: In the coming time, the Union at all levels will actively promote the quality of the activities associated with the movement "Women actively study, creatively work, build civilized and happy families”. Thereby, it will be contributing to improving knowledge and skills to build a prosperous, equal, progressive and happy family for every member. Progress in ethnic minority education

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
