(HBO) – Officials and people of Kim Boi district in Hoa Binh province have made great efforts to promote patriotic emulation movements and carry out specific action programmes, focusing on realising agricultural, tourism and service development goals, thus improving the living conditions of local people.

The Muong Dong region in Kim Boi
district has recorded strong socio-economic development, especially in
infrastructure development. Bo town was expanded, with its planning being urgently implemented, attracting
many investment resources, helping to better serve the demand of local
residents.
A number of large enterprises have researched,
surveyed and implemented investment projects in the field of tourism and
high-quality urban development in the region. Regarding implementing the Resolution of Kim Boi district’s 22ndParty Congress, the district fulfilled most of the targets set in the
resolution.
Its average economic growth expanded 8.3 percent, and per capita income reached
33.8 million VND a year. The locality’s economic structure has
been shifted in the rightdirection,gradually increasing the proportion of services and
reducingthat ofagricultureand forestry.
The district’s per capita income and budget revenue is expected to reach 60
million VND, and 120 billion VND per year, respectively. The locality also strives to reduce the rate
of poor households by 3.5 percent per year.
It has also paid special attention to building plans and mobilizing investment
in infrastructure development, especially key transport routes, improving the
business environment, promoting high-quality tourism development and
agricultural development in connection with building of new-style rural areas,
and further tightening management of natural resources and minerals.

Da Bac is the most disadvantaged mountainous district in Hoa Binh province, with ethnic minorities accounting for about 90% of its population. Over the past years, the district has mobilised resources to implement ethnic policies to improve the quality of life of local people.

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
