(HBO) - Following the Government’s Resolution No.116/NQ-CP on policies to support employees and employers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic using the Unemployment Insurance Fund, as of November 10, the provincial social security agency had paid unemployment insurance premiums from the Unemployment Insurance Fund with allowance levels of 1.8 - 3.3 million VND for 42,610 employees, with a total amount of over 97 billion VND, reaching 99.78 percent of the plan.

From October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022, 1,489 businesses with 42,034 employees will have their premiums reduced from 1 percent of their wage funds to zero percent, with a total amount of over 24 billion VND.

During the implementation of the policy, 352 workers voluntarily did not receive support, and the provincial Social Insurance agency also refused to pay premiums for 923 ineligible people./.
