(HBO) - Covid-19 pandemics has been complicatedly developinmg in Hoa Binh city. Since November 23rd, there are cases infected with SARS-CoV-2 virus in the area on almost beveryday. In particularly, there have been students infected with Covid-19 and there has been secondary infections, and there are schools with F1, F2. 

Pursuant to Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP, dated October 11th, 2021 of the Government and guiding documents of the Steering Committees at all levels on the work of "safely and adapting, effectively checking Covid-19 mpandemics, the Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh City has directed the schools to drastically implement the measures to prevent and control the epidemics, and at the same time it is necessary to ensure the teaching and studying activities with the appropriate and effective forms.

 The students at Thong Nhat Primary & Secondary School, Thong Nhat Ward (Hoa Binh City) have stricly been implementing mask weating in class.

Mr. Tran Thi Nhu Thach, the deputy head of the city's Department of Education and Training, says: Immediately after getting the information that there were F0 in the school, the department directed schools to quickly review and trace the related cases. Based on the number of subjects related to the positive cases that have been traced at schools.

Progress in ethnic minority education

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
