(HBO) – The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Hoa Binh province coordinated with the Tien Phong Newspaper and the Phuc Son Group JSC to hold a ceremony handing over the funding for building houses for revolution contributors.

deputies’ delegation of Hoa Binh; Vu Trong Kim, former member of the Party
Central Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Former Youth Volunteers
Association; Le Xuan Son, Editor-in-Chief of the Tien Phong Newspaper; and Miss
Vietnam 2020 Do Thi Ha witness the Phuc Son Group JSC handing over the house
construction funding to the Hoa Binh provincial VFF Committee.
At the event, the provincial VFF Committee
received 7 billion VND (over 299,600 USD) from the Phuc Son Group JSC for
building and repairing 120 houses for 102 policy beneficial families and 18
families of former youth volunteers. Among them, 100 houses will be built with
aid worth 60 million VND for each while 20 others will be repaired with
financial support of 30 million VND for each.
Bui Tien Luc, head of the provincial Party
Committee’s mass mobilisation board and President of the provincial VFF
Committee, appreciated the assistance from the Tien Phong Newspaper and the
Phuc Son Group JSC.
He said the aid delivery, which coincided with
the 75th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), will
encourage and help families of revolution contributors to have a better life.
The provincial VFF Committee pledged to ensure
the quality and progress of house construction and repairs while further
engaging the community in the work, he said, expressing his hope that the Tien
Phong Newspaper, the Phuc Son Group JSC and the Vietnam Former Youth Volunteers
Association will continue assisting Hoa Binh in social work.
After the ceremony, the delegation came to Du
Sang commune of Kim Boi district to launch the building of a house for Bui Xuan
Nung, a former youth volunteer in Dong Bai village.
On this occasion, the provincial VFF Committee
presented gifts to families of 10 revolution contributors in four communes of
Kim Boi district. The two sponsors handed over gifts to 20 students of the Du
Sang B Primary and Secondary School. They also presented learning and teaching
tools to some local schools./.

The Steering Committee for Tobacco Harm Prevention and Control of Hoa Binh province, in coordination with the Tobacco Harm Prevention and Control Fund, held a ceremony on May 28 in response to the World No Tobacco Day (May 31) and the National No Tobacco Week (from May 25 to 31). The event was chaired by Nguyen Van Toan, Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and head of the Steering Committee.
Since 2021, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting (CIIDC) under the Department of Industry and Trade has been implementing a school lighting model as part of the plan for using energy efficiently and economically in Hoa Binh Province in the pẻiod of 2021 - 2025. This model not only aims to improve the learning conditions and enhance the education quality, but it also promotes the message of energy saving, energy security, environmental protection and contributes to the goals of socio-economic development.
In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
