According to Ha Thi Vinh Yen, Permanent Vice Secretary of the local Party Committee, the security situation there has been stabilised. The mass mobilisation work and the smart mass mobilisaton emulation movement have been implemented in association with the implementation of political tasks.

Yen said that the movement has contributed to connecting, promoting and improving the effectiveness of the patriotic emulation movement. Notably, the one in building a civilised urban area has received attention from mass organisations and local people, thus creating a strong change in the socio-economic development emulation movements, contributing to the creation of the facelift of the township, and improving the people's life.

Currently, Mai Chau town has 56 types of smart mass mobilisation models which have recorded effective operations. Yen pointed out a number of limitations such as lack of drastic leadership and directions of some Party committees and agencies, inappropriate attention to building typical models, and irregular guidance and directions of some members of the steering committees on smart mass mobilisation movements at all levels.
