(HBO) – Yen Tri commune in Yen Thuy district has been effectively implementing mass mobilisation models, combining mass mobilisation work with the implementation of Politburo’s Directive No. 05 on " continuing to learn and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style".

The "Women save money to buy health insurance cards for the health of family and community" model is among the effective mass mobilisation ones in Yen Tri commune.

The commune now has 22 models of "Good Mass Mobilisation" in fields including two economic, 16 socio-cultural, two security and defense, and two political system-building ones. The model "Women save money to buy health insurance cards for the health of family and community" launched by the Commune Women's Union attracted 23 members in Minh Thanh hamlet.

It was established to buy health insurance for members with difficult circumstances first. The members now have better awareness of health insurance, particularly its role in easing the financial burden for participants when they get sick.

The commune’s Youth Union has also carried out two models including one on children's playground in A Dong and Tich hamlets and the other that provides seeds and flowers for people to renovate roads in villages.
The Veterans’ Association in the commune implemented a model to protect the environment in the villages of Yen Tien, Ao Hay, A Dong, and Minh Thanh. The Farmers' Union has a model for establishing co-operative groups which pave the way to the establishment of cooperative groups and cooperatives. Members participating in the model also have opportunities for exchanging and sharing experiences, supporting production, and vocational training.

In 2019, the commune Women’s Union launched a model on supporting disadvantaged women with piggy savings. By now, the model attracted 1,200 women and saved 97 million VND (over 4,000 USD), and supported 73 members who received grants to develop their production or business.

Besides models of "Good Mass Mobilisation", with the motto of "people know, people discuss, people do, people check", grassroots mass mobilisation groups have effectively called on people to participate in public affairs, for example, building new-style rural areas.

Bui Van Thap, Secretary of the commune Party Committee, emphasised that to achieve effective mass mobilisation, State employees and Party members must be exemplary. The commune regularly renovates the way of doing mass mobilisation, understanding people, and meeting their expectations, he said. Thap emphasised the importance of publicity, transparency, and people’s consensus in implementing mass mobilisation work. They would be tools to measure the effectiveness of the implementation./.
