(HBO) – The "All people unite to build the cultural life” movement has been effectively implemented in connection with other movements, contributing to promoting socio-economic development and new-style rural area building in HoaBinh province.

The provincial Steering Committee for the movement has focused on implementing five contents with seven specific movements, contributing to building a healthy cultural environment, ensuring defence-security, creating a solid foundation for the locality’s socio-economic development, and improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

Attention has been paid to promoting the movement of "good people, good deeds”, and outstanding individuals with many innovations in both content and form.

The study and creative labour emulation movement was launched in all aspects of life and actively responded by people from all walks of life, economic sectors, agencies and units. Many study and creative labour models have been deployed, while many outstanding cooperatives and individuals, and "good people and good deeds” examples have been honoured.

The "All people unite to build the cultural life” movement associated with the new-style rural area building movement has proven effective, helping rural and mountainous areas get new facelift.

Through the "All people unite to build the cultural life” movement, cultural institutions have been built and strengthened, while cultural, artistic and sports activities at the grassroots have been regularly organised, contributing to conserving and promoting national cultural values, and promoting the great national unity bloc.

The province has so far had 73 out of 129 communes recognised as new-style rural areas, 21 advanced new-style rural communes, one model new-style rural commune, 60 model new rural residential areas, and 174 model gardens.

In 2022, 87.9% of households and 95.1% of residential areas, and 92% of agencies and businesses in HoaBinh were awarded cultural titles.
