(HBO) – The labour confederation of Cao Phong district has 50 members trade unions at the grassroots level with 1,669 members. Over the recent years, the confederation has carried out a wide range of activities to ensure legitimate rights and interests of its members.
In July, the provincial confederation presented gift sets to five impoverished trade union members. Earlier, trade union programmes on visiting and presenting gifts to labourers and their family members have been organised regularly, helping encourage union’s members and labourers overcome difficulties.

According to Hoang Thi Phuong Lan, Chairwoman of the district
labour confederation, members of trade union and labourers in the district have
stable jobs with an average income of up to 6 million VND (252 USD) per person
a month.
The district has always paid attention to monitoring the
implementation of salary, bonus, allowances, social, unemployment and health
insurances regimes of employees according to current regulations.
In the first half of 2023, the district confederation of labor
organised the programme "Tet reunion - Spring together", giving 190
gift sets to union members of employees suffering from serious diseases and
disadvantaged families, with a total budget of nearly 100 million VND./.

Since 2021, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting (CIIDC) under the Department of Industry and Trade has been implementing a school lighting model as part of the plan for using energy efficiently and economically in Hoa Binh Province in the pẻiod of 2021 - 2025. This model not only aims to improve the learning conditions and enhance the education quality, but it also promotes the message of energy saving, energy security, environmental protection and contributes to the goals of socio-economic development.
In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the entire Hoa Binh provincial education sector includes 520 educational institutions and schools. Among them are 13 ethnic boarding schools with 153 classes and 4,487 students. Four of these schools have met national standards, reaching 30.7 percent.
