(HBO) – The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) and the trade union of Hoa Binh province in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Luong Son district and the management board of industrial parks in the district organised the mid-autumn festival at the Luong Son Industrial Park on September 25 night.


Nguyen Phi Long, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the HCYU Central Committee, who is also Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam; and leaders of the People’s Councils of Hoa Binh province and Luong Son district present gifts and scholarships to local children.

 

Nguyen Phi Long, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the HCYU Central Committee, who is also Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam; Nguyen Thi Cam Phuong, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council; Quach Tat Liem, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; and representatives from some departments and agencies joined children at the event.

The festival was of significance, and it formed part of activities for children as prioritised by departments, agencies and localities on the occasion of the full-moon festival.

It offered a healthy playground for the children, encouraged them to make better academic performance, and helped them learn more about traditional culture, thus facilitating their all-round development.

Its atmosphere is filled with laughter and joy as children enjoyed special art performances and dealt out cakes and fruits.

On this occasion, agencies under the HCYU and those in Hoa Binh and Luong Son district, along with donors presented 90 bikes and 190 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND, to disadvantaged children, with total funding amounting to over 400 million VND.
