(HBO) - In the morning of October 13rd, the Provincial Youth Communist Union and Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union organized the Festival "I love my Fatherland” to celebrate the 67th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Youth Union (October 15th, 1956 - October 15th 2023) and commend the volunteering clubs, teams, and youth groups in 2023.
The Provincial Committee of Vietnam Youth Union rewarded 10 groups
that made positive contributions in the youth volunteering movement for the
community life in 2023.
In recent years, the Provincial Vietnam Youth Union has actively
implemented the movement "I love my Fatherland” and organized regular, on-site
volunteering activities, continuing to play a leading role in implementing
Union’s movements such as: "Winter Volunteer” and "Spring Volunteer”, "Red
Sundays” and "Spring Festival”; launching the ceremony of Tree Planting
Festival "Eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho”; the Youth Month; maintaining the
activities of "Green Sundays”; "the Youth Workers' Festival” and "Journey for
young doctors to follow Uncle Ho's words”.
Thereby, since the beginning of the Union’s term of work, there
have been dozens of youth projects including "Boarding schools”, "House of
kindness”, "House of happiness”, "Toilet for children”, "Children's
playground”, "the Project for countryside road lighting”... which have been
completed, along with hundreds of meaningful youth works deployed in the remote
and difficult areas in the province. Every year, the Union and its members
organize free medical examinations, consultations and medicine distribution for
over 500 turn of people, and thousands of gifts and scholarships are connected,
mobilized, and given to the children and students in difficult circumstances in
the province.
At the program, the Provincial Vietnam Youth Union commended and
rewarded 10 groups and 6 individuals who made positive contributions to the
youth volunteering movement for the community life in 2023.
Nguyen Van Toan, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee on Population and Development.
Hoa Binh province’s Department of Education and Training on April 16 held a conference on the materialisation of the Prime Minister’s directive on the further implementation of the project on the application of population database, e-identification and e-authentication for national digital transformation in the 2022-2025 period with a vision to 2030. The provincial Department of Education and Training signs cooperation agreements on cashless tuition fee collection with partners and businesses.
Creating jobs for labourers in general and young people in particular is currently a focus of the province, with vocational training linked to job creation considered one of the strategic breakthrough solutions.
A total of 30 intergenerational self-help clubs (ISHC) have been established in Hoa Binh province under the project "Reducing Income- and Health-Related Vulnerability of Older Persons in Vietnam" (VIE071) since 2021.
Nguyen Thi Nu, a resident of Thach Ly sub-area in Da Bac township of Da Bac district, has been popular in the area as a simple woman that is rich in compassion. For nearly 10 years, she has spread her kindness through many charity activities to ease difficulties for the needy.
