Thong Nhat commune (Lac Thuy) has a large area with a large population, and the people's legal knowledge is still limited. The Public Security of Thong Nhat Commune (Lac Thuy) has encouraged the people to voluntarily hand in handmade guns.

On June 24, 2023, in Minh Thanh village, the model "Minh Thanh village without weapons, explosives, and support tools” was launched. Accordingly, the people were encouraged to hand over 15 handmade guns of all kinds. This is one of the effective models of the movement "All People Protecting National Security” of the commune that is supported by the people. Currently, the commune effectively maintains 13 models of self-management groups and 13 reconciliation groups in the village.

With a core role, the Communal Public Security has proactively advised the Party Committee and the the Communal People's Committee to effectively implement the Party's policies and resolutions, the State's laws and the District’s Public Security’s direction on ensuring safety. Security and Information; Coordinating to launch the movement in 100% of the residential areas, agencies and schools. They have synchronously deployed the professional measures, closely following the facility, firmly grasping the situation, proactively advising and promptly resolving the incidents related to security and order, avoiding "hot spots and surprises”. Since the beginning of the year, the Communal Public Security have organized 4 legal propaganda sessions at 3 schools with the participation of over 1,000 officials, teachers and students.

The Fatherland Front and associations and unions have closely followed the assigned tasks, coordinating to propagandize and mobilize the officials, the members and the people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the States’ laws and policies and the work of ensuring security and order; Strengthening the patriotic emulation movements to promote the economic development, the hunger eradication, the poverty reduction, the prevention of social evils, practicing thrift and combating waste...
