The leaders from the Department of Education and Training were awarding the teachers with outstanding achievements at the Provincial High School Contest for Excellent Teachers for high school and continuing education sectors in the school year of 2023 - 2024.
Recently, the Department of Education and Training organized a contest for excellent teachers at the provincial level for high school and continuing education for the school year of 2023 - 2024. There was the participation of 76 teachers, of which there were 64 teachers from high school block and 12 teachers from continuing education block.
Previously, in order for the contest to achieve high results, right from the beginning of the school year, the Department of Education and Training issued the documents directing and guiding high schools to organize school-level contests and register to participate in provincial-level contests. The high schools in the province have organized the school-level contests to discover and introduce the excellent teachers to participate in the provincial contest.
According to leaders of the Department of Education and Training, through each contest, the organization, format, and content of the contest have been improved, and the teachers are able to promote their strengths in teaching and learning according to the new general education program. At the same time, it helps discover, recognize and honor the teachers who have achieved the title of the excellent teachers and replicate the advanced examples, contributing to attracting the attention of the social forces to participate in educating students, creating motivation. efforts to develop the education cause of each locality and the entire sector.
At the Provincial Contest for Excellent Teachers for High School and Continuing Education in the school year of 2023 - 2024, the teachers competed in 3 subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Literature; Taking 2 exam parts, including teaching 1 period according to the teaching plan and presenting a measure contributing to improving the quality of the individual's teaching work. After 4 days of working with a high sense of responsibility, seriousness, and compliance with the regulations, the contest was a great success. At the end of the contest, the teachers of both the high school and continuing education sectors won the title of excellent teachers at the provincial level. The organizing committee awarded the first, the second, the third and the encouragement prizes and the good teacher certificates to the teachers in all subjects.
Evaluating the contest, according to Ms. Dinh Thi Huong, the Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, the Head of the Organizing Committee, the Head of the contest jury, the purpose of the contest is to motivate the teachers to try their best and improve themselves, meeting the requirements of innovation, improving the quality of education and career development. At the same time, it contributes to improving the efficiency of professional activities and promoting teaching and learning emulation movements in schools.
The successful contest has contributed to motivating, encouraging and creating opportunities for the teachers to practice, self-study, create, learn, exchange, convey, and disseminate experiences in teaching for the high school teachers. This is also an opportunity to consolidate, motivate and encourage the good teaching - good learning emulation movement in schools to improve the quality of education. The contest helps the high schools discover, praise and replicate the advanced examples, contributing to creating motivation for the development of the education career of each locality and the entire sector in the coming time.
