Hoa Binh province’s Department of Education and Training on April 16 held a conference on the materialisation of the Prime Minister’s directive on the further implementation of the project on the application of population database, e-identification and e-authentication for national digital transformation in the 2022-2025 period with a vision to 2030. The provincial Department of Education and Training signs cooperation agreements on cashless tuition fee collection with partners and businesses.
The conference saw
the attendance of representatives from the department and education-training
bureaus of Hoa Binh city and districts, schools, banks, and businesses in the
locality.
Under Directive No. 04, dated February 11, 2024,
the PM assigns the education-training sector to complete the educational
database, ensuring its harmony with the national population database to serve
school admission, the national high school graduation and the university
entrance exam, and cashless tuition fee collection in educational institutions.
However, the educational database has been done
for only the national high school graduation and the university entrance exam,
while remaining pending for the rest.
Given this, the Department of Education and
Training has signed agreements with the Misa JSC and the Vietnam joint Stock
Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade to speed up the project.
At the conference, participants looked into
solutions proposed by businesses to address obstacles to the work, which are
expected to help effectively materialise the PM’s directive.
